Behavioral profiling, also known as psychological profiling, is a method used to identify an individual’s characteristics, personality, and behavior patterns in order to understand the motivations and intentions behind their actions.

2. Understanding the motivations behind criminal behavior: Behavioral profiling can be used to understand the motivations and intentions behind criminal behavior. Profilers analyze patterns of behavior and communication to identify the underlying motivations and drivers behind criminal activity.
